In the Collections tab of the My Library interface, it is possible to activate the Available offline toggle for a collection as follows:
The time required to complete the process depends on internet speed and the size of the Collection. It may be instantaneous, or it may take a while, in which case it is possible to track progress in the interface. While waiting for the process to finish, the user can continue navigating within the portal.
- The Available offline toggle is not available if the Enable My Library redesign feature toggle is active.
- Deactivating the Available offline toggle deletes all associated content stored locally on a device.
If the Available offline toggle does not appear, it may mean that the Offline extension has not been installed or that the browser does not support it.
- If the network connection is lost during the synchronization process, an alert appears. Fluid Topics resumes the synchronization process once the network connection is reestablished.
- Personal books added to a collection are not available when offline.
