Before publishing an HTML package:

  • The user must have the ADMIN, KHUB_ADMIN, or CONTENT_PUBLISHER role (if the user has permission to publish content through an HtmlPackage source).

These roles grant access to the Publishing menu. If the user does not have access to the Publishing menu, request one of them from an ADMIN or USERS_ADMIN user.

  • The portal must have an HTML package source.

If the portal does not have an HTML package source set up, request one from an ADMIN or USERS_ADMIN user.

  • The archive must contain at least one HTML file.

To publish HTML packages:

  1. Open the Administration menu.
  2. Go to the Publishing menu.
  3. In the Publishing menu, select Publish content.
  4. Drag and drop a .zip archive into the window, or select Browse to open the local file explorer and select a .zip file.
  5. Select an HTML package source.
  6. Select Publish.

For advanced users, it is also possible to use the command-line tool ftpub, or the Upload content web service.

It is not possible to create multiple distinct HTML packages with the same ZIP archive.
