The Sort component makes it possible for users to change the way in which search results are sorted, depending on criteria set by a user with the ADMIN or PORTAL_ADMIN role.
The Sorting list options correspond to the criteria set in the Administration > Portal > Search > Sort menu.
All the Sort components in a same Search block or Search page share the same settings.
If the Sort component is in a Search block component, the Sort by setting of the Search block is overridden by the Sort component's selected option.
It is possible to change the default sort by dragging-and-dropping an option as the first sorting list option top in the component's Settings.
