Web designers can add the Floating menu component anywhere in a designed page to create a custom menu.

The Floating menu component differs from the Floating window component because it includes the following accessibility improvements:

  • Updated, more efficient navigation that aligns with accessibility standards.
  • Improved ARIA labels.
  • Improved association of ARIA controls with their triggers.
  • Improved support for screen readers.
  • Additional information for screen readers.

When opening, the Floating menu component covers the element located directly below.

It is possible to configure the Floating menu component to close when selecting a predefined CSS selector.

The Floating menu component has limited compatibility with other components. See Floating menu limitations for a list of compatible components.

Selecting Force open in editor in the designer does not affect the Floating menu component on a published page.
