Use this method for SSO realms. If user groups are configured in your Single Sign-On (SSO) identity provider, proceed as follows:

  1. Go to the Authentication menu, and select the Realms tab.
  2. Edit or create an SSO realm.
  3. Select Run configuration assistant.
  4. Open the All available profile properties toggle, and identify the SSO user attribute corresponding to user groups.

This attribute can, for example, be called groups or memberOf.

  5. Under Define mappings between authentication system and Fluid Topics profiles, find the Orgs dropdown menu, and select the attribute found previously.

  6. Under Check resolution results, look at Orgs, and check if the org is correct for your user profile.
  7. Select OK to save the profile mapper.
  8. Select OK to save the realm.
  9. Select Save.

The org is created when the first user belonging to the org logs into Fluid Topics. Users belonging to the org receive the corresponding roles, groups, and tags upon their next login.

If user groups are not configured in your SSO identity provider, follow the Create an org automatically via JavaScript mapping procedure.

Some identity providers do not support organization configuration. Check the identity provider documentation to check that organizations are supported.
