To make a Fluid Topics portal GDPR compliant it is necessary to observe the following rules:

  • An administrator must include information in the portal’s legal terms to notify end users of analytics tracking on the Fluid Topics portal.

It is the Fluid Topics customer's responsibility to edit the portal's legal terms.

  • Limit the assignment of USERS_ADMIN and BEHAVIOR_DATA_USER roles to individuals whose work requires them to track who performed which actions on the portal. For example forensic analysis, proactive support, etc.

  • Fluid Topics ensures GDPR compliance by not assigning these roles by default and by tracking their assignment.
  • Only users with the ADMIN or USERS_ADMIN role can give the BEHAVIOR_DATA_USER role.
