Once a portal is a remote portal, it is possible to import its current configuration, or one of its backups.
- It is only possible to do one import at a time. If an import is Ongoing, select Open details in the table, and apply it or discard it before starting another import.
- The Incompatible chip indicates that the remote portal is on a different Fluid Topics version from the importing portal. Wait for both portals to use the same Fluid Topics version.
- Select Import the current configuration or a backup in the remote portal card.
-
Select whether to import:
- The current state of the remote portal.
- A backup from the remote portal. Select a backup for this option.
-
Select Validate.
- Select the configuration categories to import.
-
Optionally, choose whether to create a backup of the state of the importing portal, before importing the remote portal's configuration.
This creates a backup called "Snapshot".
-
Select Retrieve.
A message appears to confirm the retrieval.
-
Confirm.
-
Wait for the retrieval.
During the import, a category is Retrieving. If the import is successful, a category is Ready.
-
Once all categories are Ready, select Apply.
-
Confirm.
During the application, a category is Applying.
Importing from the Access rules, Enrich and Clean, Metadata configuration, Pretty URL, or Vocabularies category requires a reprocess.
The portal now has the same configuration as the remote portal.
