Administrators can upload both CSV and SKOS files in the Vocabularies administration interface.
The following considerations may help when wondering which format is best for a specific context:
- The SKOS standard is specifically designed for structuring vocabularies. However, creating and maintaining SKOS files requires a specific toolset.
- The CSV format is not specifically designed for structuring vocabularies. However, it is possible to create and maintain CSV files with a wide range of tools such as Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or a simple text editor.
CSV and RDF files have specific format requirements. See Format requirements.
