When a metadata key has dates as values, it is possible to normalize the value by checking the box in the Set as date column.

Selecting Save after declaring a metadata value as date automatically triggers a reprocess to normalize valid dates according to the following format:

yyyy-MM-ddThh:mm:ss

The accepted date formats are the following:

  • dd/MM/yyyy
  • yyyy-MM-dd
  • dd-MM-yyyy
  • yyyy/MM/dd
  • yyyy.MM.dd
  • dd.MM.yyyy
  • MMM yyyy
  • ISO format

It is possible to set an existing metadata key as date, or to create a new metadata key as date by selecting the New metadata button and checking the corresponding check box.

  • If Fluid Topics cannot parse the date, the value is set as invalid.
  • The metadata date value adapts to the interface language chosen by users.

It is not possible to declare built-in metadata or hierarchical metadata as date.
